"Swavalamban Express" launched by SIDBI on 19th March

SIDBI ( Small Industries Development Bank Of India) announced that swavalamban Express  is to be launched by them to promote business  aspirants in the country.  it is a unique idea to promote  business  aspirants through the train. It was officially announced by SIDBI on 19th March 2020.

Key points

The proposed train will visit various part of our country and summarily  organize various workshops and programs  during the journey.  This journey will touch around 11 entrepreneurial cities .  The main cities which has been targeted are  Delhi Bangalore Kolkata Bhubaneswar Hyderabad Mumbai Ahmedabad Jammu and Varanasi.  This train  is to cover 7000 kilometre in this journey of 15 days. Any person having the age between 20 to 35 years  is eligible for the journey.  no educational qualification is needed to participate  throughout the journey.

Goal

Primary goal is to promote business aspirants. It aims at connecting small entrepreneurs. The ultimate goal is to help India to become a 5 trillion economy by 2025.

 Small Industries Development Bank of India (SIDBI) was set up on 2nd April , 1990 under an Act of Indian Parliament . It acts as the principal Financial Institution for promotion, Financing and Development of the MSME( Micro, Small and Medium Enterprise) sector as well as for co-ordination of functions o Institutions engaged in similar activities.
