Annual four day carnival float parade to be held in Goa from February 22 to February 25,2020.

Goa is a state in India which is located on the Konkan coastal belt which is on the Western coast of the Indian Peninsula. The capital city of Goa is Panaji also known as Panajim, which is around 600 km from Mumbai and Bangalore.
About Goa Carnival
Goa carnival is a riot of energy,color,extravagant dances,positi po vibes,music performances and unmatched exuberance. The Goa carnival commemorates the 450 year old presence of the Portuguese in Goa. It is a festival organized before Lent,which is meant for fasting and penance among the Catholics,40 days ahead of Easter celebration. This festival displays Goan art and culture and also celebrates with fun,frolic,pomp and splendour.
Goa Carnival Scenario
With each city arranging a parade on every seperate night, Goan streets light up with marching bands, group dances and people dressed up in colourful costumes. Local and Foreign tourists participates in this festival. The thrill of carnival attracts visitors all across Goa.
About float parade with dates
The main float parade of the festival will be held in the capital city of Panaji on February 22 followed by other cities across the state. The next float parade will be held in Margao and Quepem on February 23, then in Vasco and Curchorem on February 24 and lastly in Mapusa and Morjim on February 25
